This weekend ClassicCars.com had the pleasure of sponsoring Le Bellezze d’Italia, which is one of the most fun events we’ve attended. I may be biased as I am easily swayed by food and there is no quicker way to my heart than a spaghetti sauce cook-off.
The Arizona American Italian Club coordinated the show to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank and Operation Homefront, which provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. The club was able to raise over $8,000 for Operation Homefront and collected 12 huge boxes of canned food items for St. Mary’s Food Bank.
The Maseratis, Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, and Fiats attracted a huge crowd, which you can see in the gallery below. For those who hate looking at beautiful cars, the club also hosted bocce ball games, virtual racing, raffle prizes, a wine tasting, and of course, the spaghetti sauce cook off.
Make sure you don’t miss out on events like this one! Check the ClassicCars.com Event Calendar for upcoming shows, swap meets, and more.
